Eastport-South Manor Students

2009 Summer Reading Incentive
In an effort to extend literacy throughout the summer months, the elementary schools of Eastport-South Manor Central School District are sponsoring a reading incentive program. We hope to make this a fun program for students and their families. Although this is a voluntary project, we hope everyone will participate and parents will encourage their children to read over the summer. The grade level goals are as follows for students entering:

• Grade 1: 15 books (read and log with parental assistance)
• Grades 2 and 3: 10-15 books
• Grades 4, 5 and 6: 6-8 books

More information can be found using the following link http://www.esmonline.org/ under 2009 Summer Reading Incentive on the right hand side of the page.
